Welcome

"A man is not decided in what beliefs he may have, but in the actions he does take." -Anonymous

Over the past eighteen weeks, no class could have illustrated this statement better for me than Career Research. In such a relatively short period, I have learned more than my fare share about the world outside of school. I have seen what it takes to become a successful bussiness man, how to manage your funds, and how to generally lead a successful life. Of course, in all truth, I already knew much of the information. But if nothing else, Career Research has taught me the value of action. I had many ideas about the information, the essentially academic core of the class. But I lakced the initiative to use the information, I lacked the binding glue of any successful endeavor. Career Research has helped me to turn my ideas into reality.

My name is Dean, and I attend McFatter Tech High School and Vocational Center. I am currently developing a short term goal of becoming a successful small time computer manufacturer, troubleshooter, servicer, and salesman. I call this a short term goal because it is not the beggining of what I forsee as being my career path. A this job is simply a money maker. I intend to go into a computer simulations or sciences field, perhaps nanotechnology or computer technology.
